The first half of Italian football league ended today. After seven seasons, Juventus FC confirms first place through January, for the 25^th time. This “title” has no value, but it is very important for the spirit of the group and it is the verification that today the team coached by Conte deserves it.

Notwithstanding the simultaneous victories by Milan (it won at “Silvio Piola” of Novara 0-3 with 2 goals by Ibrahimovic) and Udinese “at home” against Catania 2-1, the Torinesis conquer the “Atleti Azzurri” of Bergamo and they closed the first part of the league with +1 and +2 against the two more serious claimants at the final victory.

Alessandro del Piero & C. (yesterday another time on the bench) now is a very real team. At least since 2007/2008 Juventus FC has not played like this moment. Between the other European league, no one is unbeaten like the “Bianconeri”. Statistics say who won the “title” on January, for sure “re-win” on May, where to be at the 1^st place is more important that now.

The “saturday night match” had seen, for the umpteeth time, Andrea Pirlo like the best performer. He is the perfect play. He is the rightest purchase during the “summer market” since the return in serie A. He is a serious metronome with astonishing feet. Saturday another winning assist for another team-mate. This time the lucky player has been Stephan Lichsteiner, as Pirlo purchased in the summer market. Header and 0-1.

Juventus during the match against Atalanta has not been only Pirlo. Noteworthy, together with the boy of Brescia and the right Suisse wingback, have been Emanuele Giaccherini (three season ago he played in C1, the Italian 3^rd division, and he realized the 1^st goal with Juventus shirt with an excellent assist by Luca Marrone), Andrea Barzagli and Arturo Vidal, both hitted two “legni”, respectevely one post and one crossbar. Curious thing: the better players of Bergamo have been purchased between between June and August (Barzagli aside from, he was purchased last January but from the beginnin of this Serie A feel like the Barzagli we saw in Palermo five years ago, when he won the World Championship).

Untill now, the best striker is Alessandro Matri with 7 goals. But, so far, the real surprise it is not a new purchase, but one man was born in Turin (Chieri, to be precised), he is a Juventus fan since his birth, he was a ball boy at the “Delle Alpi Stadium” and his nickname is “Capitain Futuro”. His name is Claudio Marchisio and he scored 6 goal notwityhstandig his honest role of central middlefieder. And it’s January, serie A ends on May. In the summer time, media talked about a disposal of this players, because he not play very much and very well, in spite of his past and his age. The management was not happy about his performing. But the coach believed in him since the beginning of his adventure on the Juventus bench. The Juventus management forgot the past. The team wins and satisty. And the supporter thanks.

Another re-generated player is Simone Pepe, from abulic to precious in the middlefield, a middlefielder with a felling with the goal, because he scored five goals, seasoned with the “golf gesture”.

The worst players so far have been the better of last season and the misteriuos object of summer market: Milos Krasic and Eljaro Elia. What happen to the blonde right wing is a mistery. From guess purchase of last season to case. In few months. Surely on June he will be selled. “Market voices” want the Serbian player in Premier League, other want him in Milan side Inter or in Roma side Roma. Maybe he could be selled just now. About the young Dutch middlefield we can’t express a positive opinion, but we can’t express a negative opinion, because the “2009 best Dutch talent” played only three times, Coppa Italia included. Juventus FC wanted more because it fought with other European teams to pull out Elia from Hamburger SV. After the match of Bergamo he made polemic with Conte because he feel right, but the coach is not right with him and he let the boy of Voorburg on the bench. He has still 19 match to show its potentiality to Conte and the fans.

Black mark at the same level for Vincenzo Iaquinta, Luca Toni, Carvalho Amauri, Fabio Grosso, Marco Motta. “Juve” thinks they are no more necessary. They alternate between bench and stand with millionaire signings, even if they have received a host of proposal to be selled (maybe next week Amauri sign for Fiorentina, maybe). Fans are disappointed by them, because three of them have won the 2006 World Champion and they expect a pride gesture or anyway a gest of a seriuos football player gest, play for the “shirt” or for another “shirt”.

To come back to talk about the Italian football league (the Champions League for Juve this season), from next challenge the Conte’s boys will play another “saturday night match” again. This time the contender is not a whichever team, but it will be Udinese, the 3^rd strenght of Serie A, coached by the brilliant Francesco Guidolin and drag by the best striker of the Italian league, Antonio di Natale with 14 goals. A important thing: di Natale is old like Grosso and Toni. A case?

After that match we know if the “Vecchia Signora” could win the Scudetto. It is not easy. But nothing when we talk about football is easy. And nothing is take for granted.
